The Arese is a men’s mid-Chelsea boot. The sophisticated coloring of a dark graphite patina has hints of green, brown and black. This beautifully handcrafted patina displays a richness that can only come from hand-burnishing. We use the finest polishes and colorants available in our hand polishing process. With elasticated quarters and discrete side buckles, this boot is refined and elegant.

The Arese combines the distinguished elegance of artisanal craftsmanship with innovation in construction. Without compromising the personalized fit and gravitas of Goodyear construction, we added comfort with a cork innersole for a Goodyear Flex construction.

The Arese is part of our Premium Collection. As a part of this collection, the attention to detail given to this men’s Chelsea boot is why this is one of our finest achievements. Our leather starts from the finest True Grain leather which is the highest grade of leather that requires no alterations. Our skins come from France and are chosen from the highest quality lots. The toes of the soles are tapped with nails, which help reduce the wear of the toe area. The inside corners of the heel are clipped to avoid catching on the cuffs of your pants.

Made to Order - Measuring Instructions

  1. Measurements should be taken by a second person, meaning you should not measure your own feet.
  2. The same thickness of sock should be worn during the measurement process that you would normally wear with these shoes.
  3. Measurements should be taken standing with your weight balanced on both feet in a normal standing position.
  4. Measurements ideally should be taken in centimeters. If a metric tape measure is not available inches can be used.
  5. Use the navigation arrows to follow the steps through the measurement process.

Measurement 1: The Foot Outline

  1. Using a pen, trace all the way around the foot on a white sheet of paper.
  2. Make sure the pen is completely vertical during the tracing

Measurement 2 - The Ball of the Foot

  1. Using a tailor's measuring tape in centimeters, measure completely around the widest part of the foot.
  2. Reference points are the bones behind the pinky toe and behind the big toe.

Measurement 3 - The Arch/Instep

  1. Measure completely around the arch/instep of the foot.
  2. Reference point is the bone on the top of the foot, roughly 2 inches (5cm) closer to the ankle from the location of the Ball of Foot measurement.

Measurement 4 - The Heel
