SOLE: 4mm+2mm Guardalo flex
CONSTRUCTION: Bologna Comfort Flex
This penny loafer in green velour makes a splash with the addition of a tan guardalo. This fun color can be worn with cotton pants, khakis, and jeans.
The Bologna construction is a historic shoe making technique of making shoes where the lining and insole is stitched together and then sewn to the upper. This construction is called “saccheto” meaning bag. It is very light and flexible which leads to very comfortable shoes from the initial wearing.
This model will fit true to size. However, as loafers do not have laces or a strap to keep the foot in place, if you have a low instep or narrow foot you may need to size down a half size. Minimal or no slip in the heel indicates a proper fit.
We recommend a soft bristle brush to clean off any water stains or dirt. Quality shoe trees are recommended after every wear and when storing. Shoe trees will help mitigate wrinkling and help wick away moisture. We recommend not wearing these shoes two days in a row allowing the shoes to rest and wick away moisture.
Please note our shoes are colored by hand and each pair will show small variations in color due to this meticulous and time consuming hand coloration process. Please also note that lighting will also effect the representation of our products when viewed online through different computers and phones.
We live in a world of mass production but DiBianco is not part of that world. We are proud to hand finish our products and beautiful variances will occur, which we believe makes them even more special.
Although we try to represent the optimal color online, we cannot guarantee the color of your item will match 100%. If you would like to have a better idea of your desired shoe’s actual finish please feel free to email us and we will be happy to send pictures.
